I can bet if you browse any iPhone user's phone you will find atleast 10 silly games that took a couple weeks to make(I have about 100). The silly game may only cost $.99-4.99, BUT the creator probably makes $500-$1000 a day from people simply downloading it.

But the best part is he did it all by himself? However he did have a little help from a friend and a contracted designer. The iPad s a widely popular device that is used for not only personal use, but business use. If you can create an app that would help out somebody in the work world you can be very profitable. Typically iPad apps cost more than phone apps, and users don't mind paying for them if they're worth it. In the work world people who use iPads use them to manage things. Using spread sheets, or taking notes is the most common thing.
